Baked Fish

Abraham Rosa Seasoning is an All Purpose Spice that brings the Caribbean flavors to your table.
This Baked Fish recipe offers the perfect combination of simplicity and fresh cooking. Now you can awaken your inner gourmet passion!

 

baked-fish INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 pound fish*
  • 2 tsp. Abraham Rosa Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp. slightly softened margarine or butter
  • Lime wedges
  • Sprigs of fresh Dill

PREPARATION:

Clean fish for cooking, leaving both head and tail. Rub inside and outside with Abraham Rosa All Purpose Seasoning & Rub. Spread 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter over entire surface of fish. Place fish in backing dish and bake at 350 degrees until it is done (approximately 40 minutes). Baste fish during baking for finest Caribbean flavor. Garnish with lime wedges and sprigs of fresh dill.

*Snapper, flounder or trout is recommended. Fresh of frozen fillets may be substituted, adjust cooking times accordingly.

Black Bean Soup Recipe

BLACK BEAN SOUP RECIPE:
Abraham Rosa Seasoning is an All Purpose Spice that brings the Caribbean flavors to your table. This Black Bean Soup recipe offers the perfect combination of simplicity and fresh cooking.  Now you can awaken your inner gourmet passion!

Black Bean Soup Recipe INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cans (15 oz each) Black Beans
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) Medalla Light Beer
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp. Sherry, Dry
  • 3/4 cup Onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup Green Peppers, diced
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic
  • 3 slices, rough chopped Bacon, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Abraham Rosa Seasoning

PREPARATION:

Heat oil in a pot on medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and sauté for 1 minute. Add the peppers, onions and garlic. Sauté for approximately 2 minutes. Add the beer and Tabasco sauce, and bring to a boil. Add 3 cans of beans with their juice and bring back to a boil. Using a hand held kitchen blender, puree the soup until smooth. Add the remaining 1 can of beans and bring back to a boil. Add the Sherry wine, and Abraham Rosa All Purpose Seasoning & Rub. Serve hot with sour cream or steamed rice.
